Energy audit is a study to establish the quantity and cost of each form of energy input to a building, site or organization over a given period. This could include evaluation of the end use and would include any on-site generation.
Energy survey is a technical investigation of the control and flow of energy in a site, building or process. It should aim to identify cost-effective energy saving measures.

Energy saving can be obtained from the following:

    • Building construction facade, wall and roof

    • Mechanical and electrical installations

    • Operation of M&E

    • Maintenance method

Such savings are usually obtained with payback periods of less then three years.
